Holy City story and sites

Last Passover

Photo above taken Summer 2013 of the building on the left, the “Upper Room” that is believed to be where Jesus and His disciples had their last passover meal on the part of the western hill called Mt. Zion. The building was destroyed in the 70 AD destruction by Rome, but rebuilt by Crusaders, using some of the original stone. Not far away is a grated excavation site where the messianic symbol called “grafted in” from the first century was found. It is a 2000-year-old sign commonly seen in jewelry today. That excavation site is referred to as “the first church grotto”. )
