During this time, the MORIAH HILL was:

*where Zerubbabel and the returnees of the first deportation from Babylon (or as it is said - they "made aliyah") built the 2nd Temple, which was larger than Solomon's Temple, but not nearly as glorious and would not have the ark of the covenant as Solomon's had once had. Perhaps for those reasons, the older returnees wept when they saw it; however the younger people were shouting, probably because they had never seen a temple before. There was a loud 'din' of both "weeping and shouting". It would also, in the future, unfortunately, be a temple in constant disrepair and even be defiled by Antiochus IV Epiphanes, the Greek-Syrian (Seleucid) ruler, in 167BC (Dan.11:31).

GOD'S GREAT PLAN OF REDEMPTION:

TO RETURN THE ISRAELITES FROM THE BABYLONIAN EXILE

TO REBUILD THE WALLS, TEMPLE, & HOMELAND

TO RESTART THE OBSERVANCES

THAT ARE SHADOWS OF THINGS TO COME

SO THAT

> THE SAVIOR, YESHUA JESUS <,

COULD BE BORN AS

“THE SON OF MAN”

AND PROVIDE REDEMPTION FOR ALL OF MANKIND
